The Lay Organization
The Lay Organization is the teaching and training arm of the AME Church. Its primary purpose is to provide an avenue for educating all members about the policies, doctrines, rituals and history of the AME Church. Each monthly meeting usually contains a workshop related to the latter subject matter. All non-clergy members of Mt. Zion are eligible to join.
